Megan Zurcher was enthused to be able to be a part of this amazing project. As a graphic designer, she has always been interested in art of every form and medium. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in visual arts, emphasizing in graphic design. Upon entering the design program at BYU, she received a scholarship based upon her talent.
Born in Napa, CA, to a family of seven children, Megan moved with her family to Holladay, UT, when she was thirteen. She now lives and works as a graphic designer in the greater Salt Lake City area. She loves the mountains and distinct seasons of Utah, but misses the ocean and mild climate of Northern California. She visits whenever she can!
As a professional, she is constantly seeking out new opportunities to broaden her knowledge in both areas related and unrelated to art and her profession. She continues to work on her fine art abilities with one of her college professors and takes great joy in the art she creates. She has taken up knitting, Pilates, and running in the past year. She recently participated in a 200-mile relay race from San Francisco to Calistoga, CA. She loves chocolate, baking, and British literature. Her family, her two wire-haired fox terriers, Lucy and Jerry, and her Apple computer are amongst the things she values most in her life.
